Extraction: cold pressing of the kernels (nuts)
- Very popular with therapists due to it being inexpensive and versatile
- Pale yellow, clear and oily with a delicate sweet smell, a hint of
marzipan.
- Contains Vitamins A, B1, B6, and E.
- Not rapidly absorbed so it provides slippage for some time making
it economical for massages.
- It is an excellent emollient, alleviating and nourishing dry skin; helps
soothe inflammation; helps relieve itching of eczema, psoriasis,
dermaitis and dry scaly skin.
- Has been used to irritaion on baby's bottoms; soothes sunburn.
